Mark Hamill goes incognito at San Diego Comic-Con

Mark Hamill, aka Luke Skywalker, trolls fans at San Diego Comic-Con — and it’s fantastic!

By Neil Harrington

Primarily known as Jedi Luke Skywalker from the Star Wars franchise, Mark Hamill also embraces his inner-dark side (from time to time) as both a Joker and Trickster — having a bit of fun with his followers on Twitter on a daily basis.

Hamill continued that trend at San Diego Comic-Con 2018, providing a bit of misdirection in the process.

The Jedi Master of jokes placed seeds of doubt on whether he was genuinely at San Diego Comic-Con.

Even his “journey” to San Diego was a clandestine one.

Indeed Hamill is at the event, but he’s using a variety of disguises, throwing fans off of his true scent.

You don’t want to see Hamill when he’s angry.

Hamill was “spotted” again!

Aren’t you a little short for a Stormtrooper, Mr. Hamill?

Finally, he reveals his true-self. Oh, wait — not so fast.

Well played, sir!

Hamill is one who genuinely gets it and is truly grateful for all of the fame that Star Wars has given him — so he gives back to the fans, showing such gratitude.

San Diego Comic-Con 2018 wasn’t the first time he donned the Stormtrooper gear, with the intent of interacting among unsuspecting fans.

Also, Hamill gives back to charity and consistently visits those in need — including numerous hospitals and injured Armed Forces personnel. He’s honestly a class act.

I nearly had the opportunity myself to meet Mark Hamill at Star Wars Celebration Orlando in 2017, but tickets were sold out in a blink of an eye.

Or come to think of it, maybe I did meet him — but I have no way of knowing for sure.

Touche, Mr. Hamill. Touche.
